§ 16-362. Adult permitting or encouraging underage violation.

  • (a)

    No adult may knowingly permit or fail to take action to prevent the illegal consumption of alcohol beverages by an underage person on premises owned by the adult person or under the adult person's control. This subsection does not apply to alcohol beverages used exclusively as part of a religious service.

    (b)

    No adult may intentionally encourage or contribute to a violation of section 16-358(a) or (b).

    (c)

    A person who violates this section is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200.00.
