§ 16-298. Outside display of merchandise and materials.

In order to enhance and protect the appearance of the business district in the village, it shall be unlawful for any owner or operator of a business or enterprise in the village to place, store or park any vehicles, trailers, wares, equipment or other salable merchandise of any description, outside of their buildings unless it is within the confines of a secured fenced area. Exceptions to this ordinance will be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. to allow the owner to display their merchandise, wares, or products, or with a special temporary exemption obtained through contact with the police department.
